Oh Hail!

No that is NOT snow...it's hail! What?!?! When did NWA become a hail location. Every now and then yes, but lately it seems it's the norm. Whatever happened to rain?
These had melted quite a bit by the time we took a picture. How crazy? And I know there was hail bigger then this around NWA.
Front yard. I mean this hail came down fast and furious! We just replaced our roof...who knows we might need to get it checked again this year after storm season.
This just amazes me...all the hail.

And here we go again...it's in the forecast for tonight for MORE hail!
How about you...how did you fair?
I know there was a lot of damage in the Johnson area. Stay safe...this weather is CRAZY!

  1. Whoa, those were some really big hail stones! I hope they didn’t do any major damage to your roof. It’s a good thing that you replaced it BEFORE the hail storm hit though. There might have been much more damage to your house, both outside and possibly inside if the old roof was still on. The new roof definitely stood a better chance against hail than the older one.

  2. I agree, Penelope! The size of those hailstones look like they could have been particularly destructive if the roof hadn’t been strong enough. What a baptism of fire (or ice, in this case?) for the new roof! It’s definitely fortunate that the newer, stronger roof had already been put on before the hailstorm.
